It’s important that you tacle red wine stains before they dry..
Step 1
Blotting the spill with some type of paper towels or a clean cloth.
Step 2
Mixing 1 teaspoon carpet shampoo (or dish soap) and 1 cup hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Use a clean sponge to soak in the mixture, rinse it halfway dry, then gently blot the stain. Repeat until the stain lifts.
Step 3
You then sponge the stained area with warm water.
Step 4
Blot dry with a clean cloth or paper towels.
